Silver 101 Part 3Silver 101 is a comprehensive 3-month course that guides students through foundational silverworking techniques, including casting ingots, creating sheet and wire, soldering, design planning, execution, refining, and final evaluation. Unique Stone Setting for Thick CabochonsLove those chunky stones, but at a loss as to how to set them? Well here's a setting just for you. I am addicted to the tall, rounded sapphires. This setting is perfect for these as well as other tall stones. We will be making frames to accommodate the height of these stones, but we will use prongs to hold them in place. You can opt for a ring or pendant.
