Stick pearls are often overlooked in jewelry design. Perhaps it's their inconsistent shape and size, but I think they're all the elegance you need for a simple earring design and use them quite frequently. This versatile design works with any beads or pearls and I encourage you to try stick pearls for a very stunningly dramatic look!

Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 5.5" length of wire. Make a slight bend at 2 inches.

Step 2
Make a closed spiral and stop when you reach the bend in the wire.

Step 3
Slightly bend the wire up and work harden the spiral only using a bench block and chasing hammer.

Step 4
Load a seed bead, Czech glass rondelle bead, stick pearl, rondelle bead and seed bead. Cut 1" above last bead and spiral the other end of the wire until you reach the first bead. Bend the spiral slightly so it's centered.

Step 5
Add ear wires or make your own. Repeat for 2nd earring.
